GHK-Cu — Cosmetic Grade

Blue Copper Peptide (GHK-Cu) Powder

A cosmetic-grade copper peptide supplied as a blue-violet crystalline powder, standardized to ≥ 99.0% assay by HPLC. The tripeptide glycyl-L-histidyl-L-lysine is chelated with copper(II), and that complex is what gives the material its characteristic colour. The powder dissolves completely in water for direct incorporation into aqueous, emulsion and gel systems. Packed with a per-batch COA, from 1 g upward.

Formulation Features

A

Cold-Process Water Phase

Dissolves at ambient temperature, so it can be dosed late in the batch and integrated without adding a heating or cooling step to the line.

B

pH 5.0–7.0 Working Range

The practical window for the copper-peptide complex, and the range most modern aqueous, emulsion and gel systems already sit inside.

C

Inherent Colour, Clean Label

Blue-violet comes with the molecule. Formulators can carry the tone into the finished product or mask it — either way, no separate colorant goes on the label.

D

Low Dose, High Value

Working levels of 0.01%–0.1% mean a small pack goes a long way, which keeps trial costs down while you set the final concentration.

Applications

GHK-Cu Serum Application
GHK-Cu Cream Application

Facial Serums & Essences

A water-phase ingredient for lightweight serum formats, including the anti-aging-positioned lines where copper peptides are already an established concept.

Creams, Lotions & Eye Care

Added to the water phase before emulsification in facial creams, body lotions and eye-area products.

Sheet Masks, Gels & Ampoules

Clear aqueous formats that need full solubility and a clean solution, without sediment or cloudiness developing in the pack.

Scalp & Hair Care Concepts

Selected by formulators working on scalp serums and hair-care products, supplied in bulk for contract manufacturing.

Private-Label Skincare Lines

Supplied from gram-level trial packs up to 25 kg drums, with OEM packing and private-label support for brands building their own range.

Frequently Asked Questions

How do I verify the material before accepting a shipment?
+

Three independent checks. Colour first: genuine GHK-Cu is blue to blue-violet, and white or pale powder indicates the copper is not fully bound to the peptide. Then the COA: assay should state ≥ 99.0% by HPLC, with the chromatogram attached. Finally copper content, which should fall in the 14.5%–16.5% range set by the formula; a value far outside it does not match the declared C14H21CuN6O4 structure.

What is the minimum order quantity, and can I sample first?
+

Orders start at 1 g, a quantity that comfortably covers several laboratory iterations at typical working levels. Samples are supplied free of charge with the courier cost met by the buyer. Larger quantities move into 1 kg foil bags or 25 kg fiber drums.

How should the powder be stored, and how long does it keep?
+

Keep the container sealed at 2–8 °C, away from light and moisture, and warm it to room temperature before opening to avoid condensation on the powder. Under those conditions the shelf life is 24 months from the manufacturing date on the batch COA.

Shipping options, payment terms and documents?
+

Under 50 kg ships by express (DDU), 50–500 kg by air, and above 500 kg by sea, quoted on FOB, CFR or CIF terms. Payment is accepted by Trade Assurance, PayPal, Western Union or bank transfer, and each shipment travels with COA, MSDS and TDS. This grade is supplied as a cosmetic raw material for external topical use.
